1953-83, West German, Walther LP 53,.177 Calibre, Air Pistol. AI 619 - AI 619 The LP53 (Luft pistole/ Air Pistol)pistol) was produced between 1953 and1983. It is a.177 calibre air pistol with the same design lines as Walther's famous.22 LR Olympia target pistol. The LP53 is all metal with plastic grip panels. Movie posters for early James Bond films show Bond holding an LP 53 or Olympia pistol instead of his usual service PPK. This example is in very good condition with original finish to the metalwork and brown plastic contoured grips with Walther banners.

It has target sights and is stamped on the left side of the frame with the Walther banner and patent detail 'LP Mod 53 Cal 4.5 (.177)'. The barrel block has serial number '065058'. The pistol functions perfectly. Price includes UK delivery.

Boxed West German Weihrauch HW 70 4.5 Calibre (.177) Air Pistol. AI 618 - AI 618 This is a West German made boxed Weihrauch HW 70 4.5 calibre air pistol in excellent condition. It has a 6 1/4' fully rifled barrel. The trigger pull is very nice and crisp. It has a fully adjustable two stage trigger which works as it should.

It has a fully adjustable rear target sight and shrouded foresight. It has plastic grips which are in very nice clean undamaged condition. The metal finish is also as nice showing almost no signs of being handled. The grips have an inset 'HWM' on each side. On the left side of the barrel near to the hinge point it is stamped with 'Kal 45' and on the left of the cylinder 'Made in Germany 049029'.

On the right side of the barrel on the flat it has 'HW 70'. It has the manufacturers name on the right of the cylinder. The box is foam lined and cut away to fit the pistol. The box is in very good condition as can be seen from the photograph.

Pre 1958 Webley Mark 1.22 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 617 - AI 617 The Webley Mark 1 Air Pistol was produced between 1935 and 1964 with refinements being made to the model throughout the production period. This is a nice Webley Mark I Air Pistol.

The pistol is stamped on the end of the cylinder with batch number '459'. It has black plastic grips with Webley roundels on the right hand one. It has 'Oil' with a curved arrow on the left side of the cylinder together with ' The Webley Mark 1 Made in England'. On the left side just below the fore sight it is stamped '.22 MK1'. The cylinder is stamped on the right side 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4' (Birmingham 4 was the Webley Pre 1958 address). It is also stamped 'Webley Patents'. It retains it's original blue finish.

Sn 11870:11 - 11870:11 This is an excellent Webley Senior.22 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce).

The forward barrel block is stamped '.22' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with Batch/ serial number '30'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10 Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce).

This 'F' series Webley Premier is in.22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos.

The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight.

Sn 11870:9 - 11870:9 Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II (see page 238 of The Collector’s Guide To Airpistols by Hiller). This is a very good example of the Webley Hurricane.22 calibre Air Pistol.

The Pistol which has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires as it should. The body is marked with the Webley manufacturer’s detail and 'Hurricane' model. Boxed, Webley Junior.177 Calibre Air Pistol With Original 1965 Dated Illustrated Instruction Pamphlet. Sn 11870:8 - 11870:8 This is an original boxed Webley Junior.177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original plum/ blued finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior.177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial/ batch number '754'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address.

Original instructions are adhered to the inside of the lid of the box. The box contains its original illustrated instruction pamphlet dated ‘9/65’ (September 1965). Price includes UK delivery. Sn 11870:8 £245.00. Boxed 1977-1982 Webley Typhoon.22 Calibre Air Pistol, Tin Of Marksman Lead.22 Calibre Pellets & Original Illustrated Instruction Pamphlet. Sn 11870:7 - 11870:7 The Webely Typhoon was introduced in 1977 as a replacement for the Junior MK II Air Pistol. The Typhoon was available in.177 &.22 Calibres.

Production of the Typhoon ceased in 1982 (see page 242 of The Collector’s Guide To Airpistols By Hiller). This is a good boxed example of the Webley Typhoon.22 calibre Air Pistol. The Pistol which has an over lever action & has a strong spring and fires as it should. The body is marked with the Webley manufacture's detail and 'Typhoon' model. The barrel is stamped with.22 Calibre detail. It has contoured target grips, adjustable rear sight & shrouded blade foresight. It is contained in its original brightly coloured Black White and Green coloured box with Red felt covered inlaid tray and hinged lid.

The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions for use. The box contains its original illustrated instruction pamphlet and a small quantity of.22 lead pellets in a ‘Marksman’ pellet tin.

11939 The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip together with serial number. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is a very good example in.22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'.

The frame under the left grip is stamped with the correct large ‘E’ (Series designation) and number ‘892’. The front of the cylinder is stamped with matching number ‘892’. The frame near the left grip is stamped with the correct large ‘E’ (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number ‘120’. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box with Webley labelling & imagery.

'Instructions for use' are adhered to the inside of the lid. The box also contains an original Webley illustrated components list dated 1969, 2 x period Webley pellet tin paper gift vouchers (obviously expired), a cardboard box which contains a quantity of lead.22 calibre pellets and an pamphlet titled ‘Airgun Law’ produced by the Shooting Sports Trust in the 1970’s (NB Some aspects of Airgun Law contained in the pamphlet may have changed since its publication).
